The G series model from Native Iron Doors is a single steel door showcasing a blend of modern and classic styles. It features horizontal bars and a hint of traditional design.

Our iron doors are made from 2" thick, 12 gauge (2.4mm thick) steel,  iron work is solid steel - various sizes of round and square bar are used depending on the style chosen.

Door Jamb dimensions are 2" X 6" - we can also make 2" X 4"

 

  • All our doors are pre-hung on heavy duty ball bearing hinges.

  • For best thermal protection, dual pane glass is included and pre-installed.

  • We also have Low-E glass available to even further reduce heat transfer.

  • All doors and jambs are fully insulated inside with a high density polyurethane foam.

  • Doors are pre-bored for a standard locking system - 2 3/8" backset, 2 1/8" diameter, 5 1/2" center to center.

  • Doors and windows are sealed with top quality, storm proof, rubber weather stripping for both insulation and weather protection.

  • Bottom sweep and seal is integral to the door 

  • For easy installation, we include pre-drilled tabs welded perpendicular to the jamb.

 

Our doors have the toughest and most attractive finishes on the market. Each door goes through a 9 step process:

 

  1.   Descaling and sand blasting to prepare surface.
  2.  Hot Zinc Galvanizing bonds to the steel to make a rust proof alloy.
  3.  1st Rust Proof undercoat painting.
  4.  Epoxy slurry to fill minor imperfections.
  5.  2nd Rust Proof undercoat painting
  6.  Base paint 1 to even color.
  7.  Base paint 2 to prepare for final finish.
  8.  Decorative faux painting (can be up to 4 separate coatings)
  9.  Clear-coat protective finish.
